Dua Lipa is a British musician and singer who was from London United Kingdom on August 22nd 1995. Her self-titled debut was released in 2017 following her signed with Warner Bros Records. It peaked in at third place at the top of the U.K. album chart, and had eight singles, including the U.K. number one track New Rules and Be the One I.D.G.A.F. Lipa has been awarded Brit Awards for 2018 in two categories: British Female Artist and British Breakthrough Act, and British. In addition, her album's platinum certification is recognized in multiple countries. Future Nostalgia's second studio album came out in 2020. Let's celebrate the special occasion of Dua's birth right here. Dua Lipa, who was born to Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa A Rexha Lipa and Dukagjin Dukagjin in London, was born on 22 August 1995. Through her maternal grandmother, she has Bosnian ancestry. Her ancestors are also tracked back to the Kosovo city of Peja. Lipa's grandfathers were both historians. She is a sister to Rina Lipa and one younger brother, named Gjin. Lipa was heavily influenced by music by her father who was the lead singer and guitarist of the Kosovan rock group Oda. Her father at home continued to play music including his original compositions as well as songs from David Bowie Bob Dylan Radiohead Sting The Police and Stereophonics. Lipa began singing when she was five. In the age of nine she began to learn how to sing. Lipa sang Beautiful, by Christina Aguilera as well as If Ain't Got You By Alicia Keys. Lipa has signed Warner Bros. Records a contract in the year 2014. In August of 2015, her debut single New Love came out.
